When my first-grade teacher informed me I had a gift for sketching, I knew I wanted to be an artist. Since then, I’ve been creating work in a variety of mediums, including watercolour, pencil, charcoal, colour pencil, and digital, but my two favourite mediums are digital and acrylic. Being creative is as natural to me as breathing. I can’t imagine my life without it. I am a self-taught artist, consuming every book, article, and video that I could as a child. I worked with every medium I could lay my hands on. ​The only art instruction I’ve had was through an online course taught by the incredible Charla Maarschalk; the rest is self-taught.
